Cars in Germany's Town Discovered Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Local Law Enforcement
Police reported they were notified by a man who found a car in Hanau marked with reddish fluid

Roughly fifty automobiles have been marked with what appears to be blood from a person in the Germany's town of Hanau close to Frankfurt, as reported by police.

Vehicles, building surfaces and postal boxes were vandalized, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they announced in a release.

Police report they were contacted late on Wednesday evening, when a man observed that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been marked with a reddish-hued substance.

The liquid had been drawn in the shape of a swastika, they added.

Law enforcement then discovered many other smeared automobiles and house walls in the surrounding area.

Nazi symbols are illegal in Germany under legislation banning the public exhibition of Nazi symbols.

Law enforcement report early analysis suggest the liquid was likely human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no indication as to its source; officials are not yet aware of any injuries in relation with the event," they stated.

City officials announced they were working "to solve the case" and have asked to the residents for details.

A high-ranking representative said the incident rendered him speechless and needed to be resolved rapidly.

"This act strikes at the very heart of Hanau and revives the trauma of the far-right attack in 2020," he posted on social media, mentioning the death of nine victims by a shooter aiming at people of foreign heritage in 2020.
